• Avoid crowds and contact with people, avoid chilling, spitting, visiting the sick, keep hands clean and out of mouth, sleep and work in clean fresh air, eat plain food, avoid alcoholic stimulants, cover your nose when sneezing and your mouth when coughing, boil handkerchiefs or use soap and water, keep feet warm and dry.
